Batten Upholstered Bed

The bed is beautiful! It is really a lovely product and looks exactly like the photo-maybe better!

Love the look and feel of this bed so much! It was a pain to assemble for 1 person (female). Make sure you get a strong extra set of hands and use a rubber mallet to get the wooden dowels to fit. They were a tough fit for me. it is an good bed, other than assembly and the struggles there, also make sure you have a 4” box spring if using a regular height mattress. I had to use a step stool to get into bed until the new box spring game in.

This bed is beautiful and a really good value for the price. I knocked off a star because it was back ordered for months (I get it - supply chain issues everywhere) but the problem was that Birch Lane kept charging and then crediting my credit card repeatedly which was frustrating. Further, although the assembly was easy, the instructions were inaccurate and otherwise missing steps related to the headboard. Lastly, there is a big gap at the bottom between the end of my king mattress and the footboard.

It’s a beautiful bed. Very sturdy. Not too hard to put together. Coordinates very well with the Watson dresser we also purchased from Birch Lane. Definitely recommend!
