Mixed Feelings About This Coffee Table
The table arrived yesterday, and I immediately noticed it didn’t match the product photo. I ordered the dark brown color, expecting the varied wood tones shown in the listing, but the one I received is monotone (see attached photo).
At first, I was impressed by the sturdy build and premium wood quality, which seemed to justify the high price. However, the tabletop surface is extremely rough—it tore my microfiber cloth during cleaning and left residue stuck in the cracks.
More concerning, the rough surface scratched my finger and caused a splinter (photo attached). I have a 4-year-old, and this raises safety concerns. While the table is beautiful and well-made, the unfinished surface makes it hard to clean and potentially unsafe.
