Mixed Feelings About This Coffee Table The table arrived yesterday, and I immediately noticed it didn’t match the product photo. I ordered the dark brown color, expecting the varied wood tones shown in the listing, but the one I received is monotone (see attached photo). At first, I was impressed by the sturdy build and premium wood quality, which seemed to justify the high price. However, the tabletop surface is extremely rough—it tore my microfiber cloth during cleaning and left residue stuck in the cracks. More concerning, the rough surface scratched my finger and caused a splinter (photo attached). I have a 4-year-old, and this raises safety concerns. While the table is beautiful and well-made, the unfinished surface makes it hard to clean and potentially unsafe.

First impression was massive and heavy looking table, weighing down living room. Thought about sending back. But after placing some items on top and a rug below to soften appearance - wow! Absolutely love it now!

This is a beautiful coffee table and I’m very happy now that it has arrived. I considered taking a couple stats off for my overall shopping experience , but when all is said and done. The coffee table is lovely and the delivery guys were very courteous. My complaint comes from six WEEKS of having to chase down what was happening with my order as it did not move at all. In fact, for the longest time it said “we’ll send shipping info as soon as it’s back in stock. I was told it was being “custom made” which is not true. Meanwhile, BL continued to advertise as “in stock” with under a two week delivery window. While I had been waiting over 5 weeks with no updates. I finally had success in getting some real answers by pretending I was interested in purchasing this same item and was questioning if the very speedy estimated delivery timeframe was accurate. I was told it absolutely was because they had 157 in stock. Wait! Whaaat???? That’s when I asked them what the heck is happening with my order? Finally I was transferred to a live agent that helpfully put in a trouble ticket and two days later, it was on its way. (Still took another 7 days) Once my order got moving the communication and delivery was great and as I said, the coffee table is beautiful and has elevated my living space.
