Birch Lane™ Adayla 42" Entryway Bench & Reviews

The Damien Three-Drawer Storage Bench combines a solid pine frame with a dual-tier organization system featuring framed drawer fronts and woven basket pull-outs. The mix of concealed wooden drawers and textured, removable baskets provides flexible storage for both small accessories and bulkier items while adding visual depth to the facade. Measuring 42 inches wide and 19.7 inches high, the low-profile silhouette works equally well as a drop zone in an entryway or placed at the foot of a bed. Dual-Tier Storage System: Three upper drawers with metal knob hardware sit above three open cubbies, each fitted with a removable woven basket for versatile organization. Pine and MDF Frame: Built with a sturdy pine wood and MDF frame, the bench features a flat top surface that doubles as casual seating or a display area. Woven Basket Pull-Outs: The included baskets feature built-in handle cutouts for easy access, introducing a tactile, woven element that contrasts with the smooth wood frame. The compact depth keeps walkways clear, making it an efficient storage solution for entryways, mudrooms, or living spaces. Wood and Woven Care: Wipe the wood frame with a damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. Dust the woven baskets regularly with a soft brush or dry cloth.

Aesthetically this piece is great and I really appreciate that it arrived fully assembled. I am using this for my children's toys, however, and the wicker baskets shed a ton every time you pull them out or push them in (see photo). The bottom/floor of the piece is rough so there is a lot of friction and the baskets just fit so you have to slide them. I will need to buy new containers I think because this cleanup is not sustainable with the activity this is going to get each day. This element was not tested or well thought out. Disappointing.

I love this bench. I looked for storage benches for a long time. This one is just the right size, looks great, and seems very high quality. My only wish is that the baskets were lined on the inside.

White glue line on front and down one side. They baskets are poor quality. Lots of basket particles in the cubby. The basket on the left is not wrapped tightly along the top wire frame and you can’t pull it out without removing the center basket first. The lip on the other baskets are significantly smaller. Not worth the 419 price paid.

Exactly what we were looking for. I would give this 5 stars if there hadn’t been a scuffed up left corner on the bench. It’s a small blemish but a little annoying.
