I purchased the Adams reclaimed living room table three months ago and love it - it's a beautiful design and very well constructed. While it had a crack, it is a solid wood item and part of that beauty is natural variation. I then ordered the Adams end table in the same design and finish to match the first one I bought. Both are Birch Lane Adams in natural finish. However, the first one appears to have a stain or glaze on it, while this one’s finish appears raw. As such, the colour is quite different, and while the design matches, the finishes don’t. Wayfair promptly replaced the end table, ensuring me that the finishes should and would match. However, the replacement has the exact same issue. The natural finish is raw, textured wood, while the natural finish on the first one is smoother with the sort of glaze on it. The stickers for the finish codes on the undersides of the table also do not match. I ended up contacting Birch Lane directly, uploaded photos at a link as directed, but then never heard back again this past month. It is now over 30 days, so chat with Wayfair support is disabled and I'm out the full amount of this table (they're not cheap!) which isn't as advertised. So, I'd say it's fine if you only need to purchase one, but do not purchase more in the same model and finish if you wish to use these in the same room and match. Photos shows the side table (assembled, on right) and the end table that is supposed to have same finish (not assembled, on left).
