Edison Desk

Beautiful desk, incredibly solid, easy to assemble, very large and very heavy! Every piece of this desk is solid wood, which makes it extremely solid and very heavy. It is a bit larger than I would have liked, but I loved the design. It actually looks like a kitchen table. 3 drawers have adequate room for your daily essentials. Ordered in the worn oak color, looks as pictured. My only concern is the finish is not smooth, so it catches on dusting clothes or sleeves of clothing, which then lifts tiny splinters and then peels. I may end up buying a piece of custom glass to protect it.

This is a beautiful desk. It is quite large but well made and perfect.

LOVE THIS DESK! I AM USING IT AS A CENTRAL TABLE IN OUR FAMILY LIBRARY/OFFICE. DEFINITELY CAN ACCOMMODATE MULTIPLE PEOPLE SITTING AT IT AT ONE TIME AND LOVE THAT IT OFFERS THE DRAWERS TO STILL BE USED FUNCTIONALLY AS A DESK. HONESTLY, IT IS SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH THAT YOU COULD USE IT AS A KITCHEN TABLE IF DESIRED. THE DETAIL OF THE WOODGRAIN IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE COLOR IS JUST PERFECT. THERE WAS A SLIGHT ISSUE WITH ONE OF THE SCREWS, NOT BEING ABLE TO THREAD THE BASE CONNECTOR BAR IN COMPLETELY, AND THE INSTALLER SUBMITTED A REPAIR TICKET FOR IT PRIOR TO LEAVING AND PERIGOLD REACHED OUT TO ME DIRECTLY TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY WERE SENDING A COMPLETELY NEW TABLE AS REPLACEMENT TO GET IT PERFECTLY RIGHT! DEFINITELY HAVE HAD A LOVELY EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THEM AND WOULD RECOMMEND BUYING FROM PERIGOLD AGAIN IN THE FUTURE
