Marble White Decorative Plates & Bowls

Keys, rings, coins and the small daily objects that migrate around a house all need somewhere to land. Petal-shaped edges give this marble bowl a softness that squared-off stone rarely manages to find. It is wide and shallow, which makes it an easy centerpiece for fruit, a few candles, or a loose spread of small objects. Hand wash it, and the veining will keep doing what veining does, which is make this one look like itself.

Concave sides curve inward from a square footprint, so the bowl reads as a solid block with its center scooped away. Marble does the heavy lifting, literally: it takes real effort to move, and it stays exactly where it lands. Fill it with fruit, or set it empty on a console where the stone can be the point.
