Exie Faux Fur Throw

This is a really pretty and light weigh faux fur throw that is also super soft and silky. it looks like a nice quality and I think very elegant. some can look cheap. I particularly like this one because it is light weight enough for summer. I usually swap out my faux throws in the summer for ones not as heavy. This one I will be able to keep ot year round.

Sheds like crazy!!!! The minute I took it out the package there was faux fur all over the floor. The fur is so thin, I breathed it in, and went into a sneezing fit. It is a beautiful blanket, if you are only going to hang it and never touch it!

This throw blanket is sooo soft and cozy. It is well made. Fuzzy on the top with a satiny back. Stitching looks great. It did shed a little at first, but that is to be expected. I have in thrown on the back of my sofa and already received many compliments about it.

The Hildrgard Emma Faux Fur Throw is very soft and smooth. I like the color and size. It fits perfectly fine with my sofa in my living room. I dont give 5 stars because it loses a lot of fur and it must to dry flat, that could be a problem. Lets see how it goes in the future.

So the plus side of this Throw is that it is very soft on the frilly part but not on the underside which is disappointing. I have three other Faux Throw's in my home, all of which are soft on the other side. I am going to use this Throw for decorative purposes because of this downfall.

The Faux Fur Throw is 50 inches by 60 inches, and just the right size for giving one or two people extra warmth over their laps while sitting close. The outer fabric is a soft silky polyester fur with a nap of about one and one-half inches. The back side is a polyester non-shiny satin, it is soft and silky but not slippery so it feels good against your skin, but it doesn’t easily slide off your lap. The throw is cold water machine washable and must be hung to dry, rather than machine dried. It is made in China, but has an “OEKO-TEX” tag indicating it has been tested for harmful substances. Not only is it a warm and inviting throw for a family room or living room, but it could be used in the bedroom as an extra blanket for a small bed, or placed at the end of a bed adding a decorative touch. The throw comes in two color choices grey and white. The choice I made was grey and it looks better with the light blue chairs in our room rather than our beige sofa. If I would be placing it on the beige sofa I would want the white throw. The color gray can vary so much in hue, this particular gray( in my opinion) doesn’t compliment beige. I did this review with the throw on my lap, after I took it off I noticed my black pants were covered with lint and stray fur from the blanket, so be aware it sheds.

This throw is so, so lovely and soft. I immediately wanted to snuggle up in it when I pulled it out of the box! I love that it is only fur on one side so it is NOT too hot to actually use as a blanket. The grey color is pretty true to the product photos... my pictures show it in my darkened bedroom lighting, and then also in direct natural sunlight. The only drawbacks are that it sheds really bad at first, and that it has to be hung to dry when washing... I made the mistake of trying it out before washing it, and wound up covered in loose fur.

Such a soft blanket but it is on the small side. My girls love it but it’s not very warm and too small to cover me up completely. It looks great on my couch. It’s a beautiful gray color and the top of it is very soft.
