Very nice, unique bookends. Look just like the photos. Well made, good weight, nice size. The wood and aluminum against the black background make the chess piece stand out. Great if you want to give your bookshelves some character.

These are great, they’ve got some weight to them so they get the job done. I noticed that some of the wood stain (I think) was peeling off so I went ahead and peeled whatever was flaking and set them up afterwards. Overall they’re pretty nice

These are just fine. I thought they might be a little bit heavier then they actually are. They’re still just fine and they look great on my bookshelf.
