I really wanted to love this tray in person as much as I did from the pictures online. The rustic wood with thick silver frame & handles is a neat, stylish combination -- and the tray looks nice from a distance. Unfortunately, up close, the craftsmanship is really bad. Although the frame is solid and attractive, the wood is extremely dry and unsealed, so not surprisingly, split/cracked. The panel is all wonky inside the frame too, with uneven gaps around the edge. Since the tray was defective, I sent photos of the damage to Wayfair and requested a replacement, which they promptly sent me. Sadly, the 2nd tray isn't any better. Neat design but subpar production. I was going to give the tray as a gift, but there's no way I'll do that now. I'll either find another use or will return it.
