First off this vase is heavy was larger than I expected which is a good thing! Sits boldly on my dining table. It gives a textured almost concrete look I love it!

It is a striking base. It's described as beige which caused me to hesitate as I wanted the terra cotta color but to my delight it is a mix of both; like a washed out terra cotta with hints of beige mixed in. Perfectly neutral. I also want to say how impressed I was with the care that was taken in packaging this vase. Honestly, Wayfair spared no expense in making sure this vase didn't break on its way to my house. And the shipping was free! My estimation of Wayfair just went up a point!!
