These don't even look finished. I could see whatever putty was used in all seams and knots. I'll definitely be returning these.

I really wanted to like these trays, but sadly they were not what I was expecting. The wood on the sides of the tray was nice, but the bottom of the tray was Masonite or some other particle board. Also, the caulking they used to fill the joints in the corners and side seams where the bottom meets the sides was white! I have made many great purchases from Birch Lane and the Wayfair group, but this was was a disappointment. I returned the trays.

I kept these even though what I received did not look like the photo online. The trays had a white wash finish around the edges. I will probably try to cover that with a brown finish to match the rest of the tray. The shape and size are good.

I like these trays so much. I have the large one on my coffee table and it looks so nice. I will enjoy using them for years to come.

Apparently my order got lost, until I contacted customer service. Order intended as a gift, arrived three days after Christmas. Was disappointed at the color and application of something added to fill in corners,etc.however trays seem otherwise sturdy and well made. May return.
