These faux leather boxes are beautiful; they really don’t look fake or cheap. The color shown is accurate, at least on my computer. My only criticism is the lids don’t stay open, you have to hold them open. AMENDED REVIEW: After putting jewelry into one of the boxes, I noticed a strong smell of what I think might be mold. It hasn’t dissipated despite letting the box air out. So my initial positive review is much less positive. I may have to toss these. Birch Lane offered a very small refund of $32.
