I got this cleaver on a whim when shopping for other specific knives my boyfriend had mentioned he wanted. He has mentioned before that he would like a cleaver--this seemed like a perfect way to test the waters. It's hilariously small yet still effective! It has a good weight and good balance, and he used it to cut a large spaghetti squash fairly easily (1 strike, plus some pushing to get the knife all the way through). My only regret was assuming that the knife would fit in our Zwilling knife block, but the blade is too wide. I ended up buying a cleaver sheath but wish that could have been from Zwilling as well.. This pot is great quality! It’s got a nice weight to it and is super stout. It also fits great inside pots from other makers. I have a kenmore set that is nonstick that I love and this fits perfectly inside the tall extra large pot. We have already found many different things to use it for to make lid a little easier.
