Cotton Quilt Set

Still too hot here to use yet. It seems heavier than expected. It looks lovely. I purchased the Navy Blue. I was trying to replace a similar look from 1988's Eddie Bauer, which has lasted 35+ years. Very well done for the price.

Thhis is a beautiful quilt with shams, but it is made very cheaply. I have had to iron on fabric patches on the back because it has ripped. The material is very thin. I now just noticed that the front of the shams are pulling apart. I am very disappointed.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this quilt set, but it’s absolutely beautiful. It comes with a tote bag that has the same quilted design. The colors are vibrant. The quilt is lightweight, which is great because I ordered it for summer. I haven’t removed the quilt from the bag yet, but the photograph is of one of the pillow shams. The quilt is the same design and quality. Very happy with this one.

I have to say, I was very pleased with this Wayfair item, and it came just in time for Christmas! What a beautiful quilt set! I am so impressed. It looks just like the picture only better in person. It fit the king size bed perfectly. The set came with two nice size king shams to match. My second picture below shows the red back of them. It has two bows to secure the pillow inside. I like that style, it is cute and simple. What sold me on the set was the 100% cotton. Yes, this is not microfiber or polyester, but 100% cotton. I think it is the only kind of linens I buy anymore. The others feel terrible, but the cotton breathes and hangs nice. The tag says you can wash and dry in warm water, but I only wash cotton in cold and always hang dry. The dryer is what seems to shrink everything. Also, I think especially with “red”, it needs to be cold water. My family thinks it looks great on the bed for the holidays, and it does look like a Christmas quilt. I remember the description saying the pattern was an Irish Chain. I was glad to know, it was really stunning. The set also came inside a cute tote bag that had the same design on the front with handles (3rd pic below). All in all, I am totally happy with the quilt!
