Except for the color, the velvet side is lovely. The color is more tan than gray, but the velvet is a nice weight and feels soft and luxurious. The other side is awful. Even before we used the bedspread, the back side is covered in pills. I liked the velvet so much that I kept it, but I should have returned it. I don’t recommend this bedding.

This quilt is beautiful! Very nice quality! I ordered the dark gray. The thing I really like is it actually is large enough to cover my thick mattress!

Polyester side of fabric feels cheap. But it looks very nice but does not feel nice to touch
