I've been through a lot of box store flannels and these are the best, definitely worth the $20 more. I was afraid they'd be tight going over the mattress and they are not, nor are they loose, they fit very nicely. Also the flat sheet isn't just the size of our king bed, it actually goes over the sides by enough. And they are soft, not brushed sheets, actually soft cozy flannels.
