The Percale cotton sheets are woven using extra fine long staple yarns. They weave their 300 thread count Percale fabric by laying one warp thread over one weft thread in a 1:1 ratio. This tighter Percale weave produces a more durable fabric that is superior to sateen weaves. Percale never pills and stays smooth. Though thread count is important, how the fabric is woven is more important when it comes to how the sheets feel. Crisp and cool to the touch with a matte finish, their Percale linens are one of the best investments you can make in bedding.

These sheets are very crisp and very thin almost like paper. If your pillows have any kind of print on them it will show through the case, hence the 4-star rating. The embroidery is gorgeous.
