This towel bar has a much better hanging system than the first one. I had to replace the first one because it came out of the box stripped. Could not get the set screw to secure the bar. I could not find my paperwork on it so I just ordered another one. The carpenter installed this one and said it was much better. But, the set screws in this one are chrome, while the escutcheon is matte black!!! As I sit in the tub I can see them! I had the same issue with the Kingston faucets and I had called them and they said they don't have black set screws. I had to buy them myself. However, the first towel bars and the toilet paper holder and the ring towel holders all have black set screws. Not good for the price you pay for "Kingston Quality",. Anonymous. Round Rock, TX.
