Crewe Recliner and Swivel Glider

Caution! I ordered this chair, and it arrived damaged to the point of being nonfunctional. NO padding was in the box at all. The damage is so huge it wouldn't be able to stand and is defective. The box is huge and dealing with the time spent trying to organize it being returned by getting picked up from my house, etc., was such a hassle. I will update my review if it arrives in one piece next. Be warned.

Comfortable chair with great back support. It’s beautiful and I’m looking forward to having it last for many kids! I am 5’9” and my feet barely touch the floor. Perfect height for me, but may not be as ideal for someone short.

So far, this recliner I purchased because it claimed to be Greenguard Gold certified - so advertised as less toxic than other furniture - has given us major eye and respiratory irritation. It made us both feel tired as though we’d been drugged. We’ve had to take it out to the garage for off-gassing - it was not advertised to require this. Hoping it will air out enough to be able to use it within the 30 day return period. Three days in it has not improved. Crossing our fingers…

Very disappointed...we paid for delivery to the room of our choice and then assembly. Fedex subsequently delivered to our garage (they wouldn't come in the house) and Wayfair home services would not bring to the room of our choice). Do not pay for delivery without realizing these shortcomings even though the website clearly states will be delivered to the room of your choice. I will update the review for the quality of the furniture but for delivery, its a bad experience. Updated - The recliners look great...no imperfections and the team at Birch Lane made it right by approving a credit to our original purchase price to make up for the initial bad experience. I am thus changing my rating due to the quality received for the price paid and customer service action with just one phone call to make things right. Thank you.

This chair is not only beautiful, but it is so comfortable!!! It was so easy to put together, and I am so glad I didn’t pay for assembly. It reclines all the way back! It is my new napping chair!
