Much taller than I anticipated. I almost have to get a running start to jump on the stool. It is very sturdy and solid. It arrived in one piece so the only assembly required was unboxing. This patio bar stool comes with a cushion. Cushion is soft and supportive and seems like it will last but I will keep outside only when using chair.
