What a wonderful rug- it really ties the room together. There were no odd folds or creases to work out from the shape it shipped in (which was free and extremely fast, might I add). The color is exactly as was pictured, which i reckon can be difficult given that it is manufactured with natural materials. The weave and pattern are beautiful- reminiscent of a time when things were made well, and, well, this rug is simply made well. I ordered the 8'x8' square rug. My space was a bit of a challenge because there are two areas in one room. I wanted the two spaces to be distinct. The rug really helped to pull this together. It's not as soft as I thought it would be from the photo, but it is in way hard or scratchy. You definitely don't want to use a vacuum that has roller brushes that run automatically. The loops are large and would likely get pulled up and unravel. I would say it is worth the purchase. UPDATE: It sheds like crazy! The colors were perfect! It came folded and rolled so the rubber backing was sticking to each other when unfolded. It has a "new" smell but that will go away.
