I think it seemed cheap because it’s lightweight which is obviously what you want for a baby. The color is a nice simple beige. It goes with other Crane Baby items I have for my baby in his nursery. Mine touches the ground, which grosses me out without something underneath. I love that these are large enough to extend way beyond the play yard so my daughter can crawl out the zippered opening and play on the blanket without touching yucky carpet in hotels.
