Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product.
