This is an beautiful blanket. I measured it and it is several inches larger than the description, so definitely very generous. The surface is a little delicate, the weave is a little loose but very attractive. Instructions say dry clean, but the dry cleaner wasn't able to remove some dirt from a pet laying on it, so I washed it on gentle and dried it by draping over something so it was 'sort of' dried flat and it came out fine.
