This nightstand is exactly as described. It’s solid wood, very sturdy, and HEAVY — definitely not flimsy furniture. It’s also really pretty in person and looks more expensive than a typical nightstand. The three drawers are fairly shallow, about 3 inches deep, which is worth knowing before purchasing. They’re perfect for socks, underwear, documents, chargers, medications, random odds and ends, or the inevitable collection of things that have no proper home but somehow belong in a nightstand. You could also store cash and credit cards in it, I suppose, if your goal is to make things extremely convenient for a burglar. Overall, I’m very happy with it. we truly love these nightstands. the height is perfect so it's not higher than our bed (standard base + mattress) and when you accidently roll over too far you don't crack your head on the corner. its deep and wide enough to hold our phones/tablets/watches and assorted books/aspirin/etc and still does not look cluttered but it's not so big we have to buy a bigger house with a larger master bedroom. the drawers have quality glides and the structural parts are real wood so it should last. 3 draws is perfect. the previous one i had was one drawer on top with so much stuff you can't find anything and a cabinet underneath that makes you want to avoid going in there. i can fit all the cabinet stuff i had in the bottom two drawers and easily get at everything.. These nightstands are large and seem overall sturdy and well built. We have a large bedroom space so I was not worried about the size, but if you have a smaller space or even a queen bed I think these would overwhelm it. We ordered ours in Sea glass, and they appear spray painted as I noticed some patches that aren't painted, you really can't see from the front so I let that go, there are also some black spots, again not notiecable enough to send back but Wayfair should add some quality control. Also, the paint color does not look like the image, it is definitely darker. It is still a pretty color, but if you are hoping for a light blue these are not. Very pleased with these nightstands. They were a splurge for us - we were planning to spend about $100 less per nightstand, but in this case, the extra expense matched the better quality. I like that they come fully assembled, and that the drawers are on metal tracks and close gently. The woodgrain is appealing, and the rounded corners make it look on trend but still timeless.
