Love the bed but during shipping the headboard box was pretty beaten up. The headboard wasn’t protected at all when it was delivered. Styrofoam was on the bottom of the box. A couple of issues. One was one of the posts had a crack in it nothing large but enough to to contact Wayfair. The second was since the headboard wasn’t protected there was some damage to the top of the headboard. Wayfair is taking 10 off and I took it since I don’t know how I would ever package up the old headboard. The bed is beautiful, as long as there’s no shipping issues you will love it.. Susan. What an EASY build. I always appreciate not having to put together 50 billion pieces. This bed took no more than 15 minutes to put together. I gave it 4 stars simply because the footboard had some stains. However, the bed is gorgeous timeless. It arrived within 2 days of purchase. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to understand. Tip- to be successful, you will need a power drill to put attach the bed slats to the frame. Assembly mentions a screwdriver but honestly it will take you days if you did that. We bought an 8 inch thick mattress for the trundle and a 10 inch for the top. Both fit perfectly. It is larger than I thought but looked quite nice once it was set up. I used twin sheets and comforter and it fit nicely. Overall, very pleased with the purchase for our guest room. Pattie.
