Poorly made umbrella base. The pole does not stay securely in the socket. when the umbrella pole is put in place and the wind comes up it unscrews the pole over a short time. I purchased these because we are near the beach and it gets windy. These seemed like they had the weight to secure an umbrella, but not so. I purchased two of these with two Berkeley Patio Umbrellas which were also poorly made. I would not recommend these, but would recommend, if wind is a factor to purchase something with a 100 lb. base. This will remain lopsided if you have wind and not fully support your umbrella!
