We were very pleasantly surprised when we received our chairs. The color is more on the "oatmeal" side versus a cream, but it worked out great because the fabric on our custom made pillows has that color in it so that fabric compliments the chairs and the pillows fit perfectly to give a little more back support. Finally found the chairs to complete my living room! They are ivory (not white as it looks like in some of the stock photos online) and not beige. The first photo shows the true color pretty well. There is a subtle herringbone pattern in the soft material. The seat is quite deep and if I'm sitting all the way back my feet do not touch the ground (I'm 5'6") but they're perfect for my 6'3" husband. They really warmth to the space. I’ve had these chairs for almost 1 year now. I like the material a lot and it is comfortable to sit in for the most part. The quality of how the bones of the chairs are made is pretty cheap though. The legs are black plastic and I’ve always hated that. I went to change them out to wooden legs and saw that the piece does not even screw in. They wedge into a hole in the lesser quality plywood on bottom. See picture. Also, if you lean on the arms of the chair to get up, they collapse slightly. I’m not sure if it’s because the wood under the upholstered arm is cracked or if it’s not even actual wood. Obviously I’ll never know without dismantling the chair. Overall they are pretty aesthetically, however the bones are just cheap. Also, when I bought these chairs, they were almost half the current price! Hope this helps!. Jenny. . 2023-02-27 15:51:41

The chairs are lovely. They are as attractive in real life as they appear online. The only negative I can say about them is that the cushions are quite firm. There is no give in them at all. I'm guessing they will soften up over time or I can probably take them to an upholsterer and have the material inside the cushion cover replaced with foam.
